Κατά τη γνώμη μου δεν
υπάρχει άνθρωπος ανεξαρτήτου ηλικίας, από μικρό παιδί μέχρι ενήλικα, που να μην
εντυπωσιάζεται από τα πυροτεχνήματα. Έτσι και εγώ δεν ξεφεύγω από τον κανόνα
αυτόν, από μικρή κάθε φορά που άκουγα τον χαρακτηριστικό τους ήχο έβγαινα στο
μπαλκόνι και έψαχνα τον ουρανό. Όταν διάβασα για το φεστιβάλ
πυροτεχνημάτων στο Busan είπα οτι δεν υπάρχει πιθανότητα να μην πάω και εγώ
εκεί…
Για κάθε λαό τα πυροτεχνήματα
σχετίζονται και με διαφορετικά γεγονότα και γιορτές. Στην Ιαπωνία και μόνο κατά
τον μήνα Αύγουστο πραγματοποιούνται 200 φεστιβάλ πυροτεχνημάτων σε διαφορετικές
πόλεις. Στις Φιλιππίνες κάθε χρόνο γίνονται αγώνες πυροτεχνημάτων με πολλές χώρες να παίρνουν μέρος. Για την Ινδία και την Κίνα τα
πυροτεχνήματα ενισχύουν τους θρησκευτικούς
εορτασμούς τους (δημιουργία του νέου φεγγαριού), ενώ για τη Σιγκαπούρη
και τις ΗΠΑ είναι μέρος των εθνικών τους γιορτών. Στη Κορέα έχουν σημαντική
θέση σε κάθε φεστιβάλ τους, αλλά και στην αλλαγή του χρόνου, όπως είναι
συνηθισμένο και στις πιο πολλές χώρες του κόσμου.
Το φεστιβάλ των πυροτεχνημάτων
στο Busan γίνεται συνήθως τον Οκτώβριο
στην γέφυρα Gwangan μπροστά από την παραλία Gwangalli. Τα καταπληκτικά
πυροτεχνήματα αναδεικνύουν μια έτσι και αλλιώς τρομερά εντυπωσιακή γέφυρα. Η
διώροφη κρεμαστή γέφυρα μήκους 7.4 χιλιομέτρων, η δεύτερη μεγαλύτερη της
Κορέας, σου τραβάει την προσοχή με το που φτάσεις στη περιοχή.
Τα καλύτερα μέρη για να
παρακολουθήσεις τα πυροτεχνήματα είναι οι λόφοι γύρω από την παραλία, οι οποίοι
όμως έχουν αρκετό περπάτημα για να φτάσεις στην κορυφή τους, πολύ κόσμο
μαζεμένο και χαμηλότερη θερμοκρασία από την υπόλοιπη περιοχή. Η θέα όμως που
εξασφαλίζεις από ψηλά είναι μαγική και αξίζει την ταλαιπωρία.
Τα πυροτεχνήματα
ξεκινούν κατά τις 8 και διαρκούν περίπου μία ώρα, αλλάζουν συνέχεια χρώματα και σχήματα, χορεύουν μαζί
με την μουσική και τα φώτα της γέφυρας (η μουσική ακούγεται μόνο στην παραλία).
Τα 80000 πυροτεχνήματα, αξίας 1 εκατομμυρίου δολαρίων ξεκινούν από 8 διαφορετικά σημεία περιμετρικά
της γέφυρας κάνοντας τη βραδιά να γεμίζει φώτα. Για μια ώρα κάθεσαι ακίνητος
και τα παρακολουθεις χωρίς να καταλαβαίνεις τον χρόνο πως περνάει. Το μόνο που
ακούς είναι επιφωνήματα θαυμασμού από τους γύρω σου αλλά και τα ασταμάτητα κλικ
των φωτογραφικών μηχανών από επαγγελματίες φωτογράφους και ερασιτέχνες.
Το φεστιβάλ των
πυροτεχνημάτων δικαιολογημένα προσελκύει σχεδόν 2,5 εκατομμύρια επισκέπτες κάθε
χρόνο από διάφορες χώρες. Ο άνθρωπος πάντα έχει την ανάγκη από μικρές
χρωματιστές φωτεινές αχτίνες μέσα στο σκοτάδι του μαύρου ουρανού…
In my opinion there is nobody,
child or adult, who is not fascinated in the view of fireworks. The same
applies to me also, ever since I was a child I remember myself running outside
the house and staring at the sky at the sound of fireworks. So when I read
about the fireworks festival in Busan I was very excited…
Fireworks are
inseparably connected with various kinds of celebrations and traditions throughout the world. For example almost
200 fireworks festivals are held in total during August in Japan. In the
Philippines a firework competition is held annually with many different
countries to participate. In India and China fireworks are used for their
religion celebrations, as in Singapore and USA are used to celebrate their
national days. In Korea fireworks are important in every celebration and
festival that is held in the country and also in New Year’s Eve, which is very
common in so many other countries.
Busan Fireworks festival is held annually (usually in
October) in Gwangan Bridge in front of the Gwangalli beach. The amazing
fireworks make this very impressive bridge, look even better. When you arrive at the
area the first thing that catches your attention is the two level suspension
bridge of about 7.4 kilometers length which crosses the sea in front of the of
the beach. It’s consider to be the second longest bridge in the country.
The hills around the beach is the best place to
go and enjoy the fireworks festival. Their disadvantages are the long distance you need to walk in order to reach a good spot, the fact that they
are very crowded and that usually is a bit chilly. But the view from
the hills is breathtaking and it worths the effort.
The fireworks show started around 8 o’clock and its
duration was about an hour. During the show the colors and the shape of the
fireworks were changing continuously and it felt like they were dancing in the rhythm of
the festival’s music (you could listen the music if you were in the beach). The 80000
fireworks, that cost around 1 million dollars, were launched from 8 different spots all
around the bridge turning the night into day and taking your breath away. For an hour
we stayed still watching the fireworks and we didn't feel time passing. The
only sound we could hear was the continuous clicks of the cameras from the
professional and amateur photographers.
The festival, like it is expected, attracts about 2.5
million visitors every year from all over the country and abroad. People always
like a small colorful light beam in the darkness of the night…
